SUMMER IS ALMOST OVER!

SUMMER IS ALMOST OVER!

“Autumn is a second spring when every leaf is a flower.”   Albert Camus

Well officially, the last day of summer is September 21st – and that day is fast approaching.  What happened to spring and summer.  Well here in the south, we are lucky if spring lasts more than 3 weeks.  Summer is always hot and seems to last forever.  But the nights and mornings are cooler now, and one can feel the season changing.  Albeit not as much as my fellow northerners, but there is a noticeable difference.

It’s good to be back blogging, not that I went anywhere for the summer, I just worked my tush off – literally.  I actually lost 20 pounds because I worked so hard and long all summer long. I will be working equally hard during the fall, winter and spring, but different.  My work over these next few months will be more of a mix of physical and mental rather than just physical.

I did check my blog now and then, and thought boy, I’m getting a lot of people visiting my blog; only to find out they were spammers, just wanting to get their advertisements out there at my expense.  Live and learn.  The older I get, the less naïve I become.

I will be having a lot of new tips for buyers and sellers, so stay tuned and come back often!

About Mme Jocelyne

Hi, I'm a transplanted northerner–(born and raised in New York to French immigrants–Oui je parle Francais)-living in Florida for 20 years. In the 70's I worked as a realtor in the Bronx – City Island to be exact. Then I started a family and didn't keep up my license. I aspired to a career in architecture, so I went to New York Institute of Technology for three years, moved to Florida and finished my degree at the University of Florida in Gainesville. After 10 years of working in my dream career I sustained an injury to my shoulder. This injury never healed because I was constantly on the computer doing cad design. I finally decided to make a career change – something where I could use my training as an architect. Needless to say, I was worried – where will the money come from? How will I be able to afford my career change? But, I put my faith in God and went for it. It’s the best move I ever made, other than my husband, children and dogs.
